We work closely with our artisans to ensure that their products meet our quality standards. All products are thoroughly checked by our staff before being shipped out. Due to their handmade nature, actual items might look slightly different from their images on our website, especially embroidery and felt items in particular.
Our products are made by community-based artisan groups across Palestine. Every purchase contributes to the income of women, persons with disabilities, and small-scale farmers who make our products, and support their families through their hard work. By maintaining sustainable work opportunities, our products also support the wider communities that the artisan groups are based in.
Sunbula is a Guaranteed Fair Trade member of the World Fair Trade Organization, and we ensure that all our products are made in compliance with global fair trade standards. This includes providing opportunities to marginalized producers, ensuring fair wage and working conditions, and protecting the environment.

Embroidery: Most of our embroidery items should be dry cleaned, or hand washed in warm water. Dining linens from Surif Women’s Cooperative can be machine-washed with gentle settings in cold water.
T-shirts: Machine-washed in cold water
Jewelry: Store your brass jewelry wrapped in a cloth and store in a dry place to prevent tarnishing. Polish your jewelry from time to time, using a polishing cloth that is usually available at local jewelry shops. You can also wash in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth.
Olive wood: You can wash your olivewood products gently by hand with warm water and soap, wipe down with a soft cloth, and dry naturally. Rub olive oil onto the wood using a kitchen towel or a soft cloth from time to time
We purchase our products at a fair price from our producers and sell with minimal mark-ups. As such, please understand that our ability to offer discounts is limited. However, we will be happy to provide a small discount on bulk purchases to resell our artisans’ products in your local community. Please contact us at email@example.com for further information.

Once received, we will start processing your order immediately. If all items ordered are in stock, we will ship them within 3-5 days. If there are any delays or shortage in inventory, we will contact you with an estimated time on when the items will be available and ready for shipping.
We can change your delivery information if your order is still being processed, so do get in touch with us as soon as possible if you require a change. Once your order is shipped out, we will be unable to make any changes on our end. Please contact your local post office or courier service to notify them of the change in delivery address.
We ship worldwide! We use EMS or EcoPost (part of the Israeli postal service) to ship to most countries, and Aramex to ship to the Gulf countries.
The average shipping time to the US, Canada, and most Western European countries is 1 week, while the shipping time to Northern European countries and Asia-Pacific takes 1-2 weeks.

When the shipment goes out, we will send you a tracking link that you can refer to track your parcel.
If you’re not present to receive your parcel, your local courier service will usually leave a written note about a missed delivery, with accompanying instructions on how to pick it up. If the parcel is not delivered after multiple attempts, it will be returned to us, and we’ll get in touch with you on redelivering it.
Most countries do not charge customs for small personal purchases, and we enclose required documents to avoid unnecessary charges. However, import policies differ from country to country, and we suggest that you check with your country’s sources.
Yes, your order can be changed or cancelled before payment or shipping is processed, so do get in touch with us as soon as possible if you require a change.
Yes, we will be happy to exchange defective or wrong items. Please contact us at email@example.com with pictures of the items, and we will work something out.
All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. We will be happy to arrange an exchange of items, but please note that we do not cover shipping costs unless the exchange results from an error made on our end.
